Hello Community,
I have been interested in building a computer build with the NZXT H440 case. This will be my first build (if I decide to drop a large amount of money on this build), so I do have some questions. I definitely wanted to include the Corsair H100i v2 in my build, and I know that it would be mounted to the top of the case. Would I be able to fit another 120mm fan right next to the H100i v2? Since there are three slots for 120mm fans, would orientation matter (H100i v2 above the hdd tower vs above the motherboard)? Here is a link to my dream build just in case that is needed. Thanks!

P.S. The quiet edition fans are replacements for the H100i v2. Is it a good choice?

Yes you can.

The space between the top shroud and the cases isn't much so it's suggested to install your radiator to the top of the chassis then have the fans below it and set to push air out the top of the chassis which is known as "push". As far as the rear fan is concerned, have it set to exhaust.

A couple of places where you can cut costs is to drop your SSD down to a Crucial MX300. COntratry to their nomenclature, the Quiet Edition fans automatically become loud and begin to rattle after some use. They are considered to be one the worst fans in the community and for that price point, you can pick up some better fans. On another note, the AF are better as Case AirFlow fans...

On another note, the AF are better as Case AirFlow fans while the SP's are more of a StaticPressure fans. Both of them are horrible. For static pressure, you can look into their new range of ML fans or pick up Swiftech Helix, EK Vardar, Bitfenis Spectre Pro, Noiseblocker E-Loop or Noctua NF fans for your AIO.

Are you sure I couldn't interest you in building a smaller machine for that price point? ;)
