Razer vs Logitech Durability & Construction

I had a Logitech G5 that I used for almost 8 years and loved it. It started going out (disconnecting/reconnecting in windows all the time) so I bought a cheap optical gaming mouse for under $20. To no surprise I do not like the cheap optical mouse compared to the G5.

The G5 lasted 8 years, but they don't make it anymore. I've never used a Razer mouse before and am wondering if they are constructed to last as long as the Logitech G series? The main concern is with the buttons. The cheap mouse I've had for less than 6 months already has loose buttons, whereas the G5 buttons never loosened.

Is Razer as durable as Logitech with their mice?

*Oh and btw, I pulled out my G5 today and it seems to be working fine. But I expect it to start acting up sooner or later and I want to be on the lookout for a good replacement that would cost about the same as my G5 did 8 years ago (~$70).
