Hello everyone,

I was searching for a good air cooler for my i7-4770k since reading many posts on this forum convinced me that most of the AIO liquid coolers around 120$ are really too loud for the performance they offer.

I have a quiet system in a Corsair 330r with 160mm cooler height clearance, so most of the very good (big) air coolers (eg. Noctua D15 or D15s) won't fit my case.

Reading this review of the Be Quiet! Dark Rock TF cooler, I was impressed by the temperatures, since it managed to beat the Noctua D14 and D15, at its much lower noise/size. Could this be too optimistic?

Would you recommend this cooler (quite pricey at 80$ though) or a better alternative for overclocking?

that's just 1 review. based on other reviews, this cpu cooler is really, really good. i'd recommend it, although 1 gripe about it is installation being rather difficult. Other than that, looks pretty cool (pun intended). cheers
