I have recently built my first computer. I have everything hooked up. When the cpu fan is in the CPU_FAN connection and boot everything up I get the screen that says to reboot and select proper boot device. When I move the CPU fan connector to the CPU_OPT connector my computer boots to the BIOS but the boot light LED stays on. Is there a way to fix this?

Hello I think I have fixed the issue. I did a clean install on my Windows 10 and have left the cpu fan in the CPU_OPT connector. The light doesn't remain on and it boots up without a problem.
