hello there, I am thinking of upgrading my old cpu to a better one. And I got to the point where I couldn't decide which cpu I should get. I have a tide budget of $300, which is very hard to decide. I also needs a new mb which I don't mind buy them used. So after hours and hours of searching I found the 2 cpu that I could buy and a mb. however, I cannot decide which cpu to buy. I7-4770k or I7-4790 ? I don't want to OC because I have a bad case and maybe upgrade the case sometimes in the future but now I don't want to OC. Any suggestions would be very great to me as this time and I am really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

The 4790 is marginally better than the 4770K. Also, if you're buying used, it's likely that the 4790 suffered less abuse, both because it is a newer CPU ( 2yrs old vs 3yrs old) and because it's a locked CPU so it's unlikely anyone tried to overclock it.
