Does overclocking RAM sacrafice latency?

most RAM sticks with high clock speed tend to have higher latency than their low clock speed counterparts. I am wondering if you overclock your RAM speed will your latency be affected?

Latency is measured in cl not ms. So faster ram with a higher cl usually has the same latency in time, just higher in # of clocks. And with ddr4 its not really the case stock 2133 ram is cl 15 and you can get at least 3200 at the same cl
