So I just built a new system a month ago and have had nothing but errors upgrades and headaches. Asus tech support is the worst might add. I have been told by them a dozen different things that contradict. Heres the current issues and setup any help would be greatly appreciated....
Current problem is My usb is cutting in and out when I use my capture card. / if I go external capture card it seems to freeze after 2 minutes of recording. Internal version is the legato HD60 pro, the external is the HD060s. I have the newest un released yet legato software that works with sli 1080. as the current listed version does not it literally will not show the card as a decoder.
I use this system to stream xbox and pc games as well edit video and photoshop.
X99 deluxe II (even echanged the board because I thought the usb was faulty so second board)

corsair Dominator 128gb 3000
2 GTX 1080 asus founders cards in sli using mobo bridge till I can grab a hb bridge.
m2 in hyper kit in slot 5 Samsung 950 512 (primary drive)
2 Samsung 850 ssd 1tb each in striped raid storage.
2 Toshiba 4gb backups
Asus ROG swift 34" monitor and Samsung 29" curved monitor so I can stream from one and monitor chat and such from the second.
Corsair h100v2 liquid cooler.
Usb wise all that's plugged in is a wireless keyboard adapter, ratx pro, ipod cable, usb mini cable and usb mini c cable for plugging in phones or xbox controller to play with. a shure nv51 mic which I use the headphones through the mic.
The vid cards are both at 16x and the hyper is ran at 4x
I origionally wanted to use the thunderbolt that came with the board and use the hd60s capture card via usb as I have a laciue 10tb striped raid thunderbolt system. But asus said I had to run it in slot 5 and couldn't run it in slot 2 or would have usb issues even though the bios shows slot 2 as the approipriate slot for it. I was toild I cant run the m2 on the board slot by the ram because it shares with slot 3, even though it says use slot 4 in the bios if your using m2. which I tried as well but only got 8x 8x on vid cards in slot one and 4 with m2 installed and thunderbolt in 2. So not sure if the issue is the hd60s in 2nd slot causing issues with the usb or what? any suggestions would really help as I'm out of time to return parts if faulty so now I would have to relay on asus ttech support..... which each call tier 2 was supposed to call me the next day...... its been a month plus with a call to 4 a day.
