Whenever I start up Radeon Settings I get the error "Radeon Settings are not currently available. Please try again after connecting AMD Graphics".

I've tried everything under the sun and read every post about it on google and NOTHING works for me. I've uninstall/re-installed too many times to count. The device comes up in the Device Manager as AMD Radeon R9 390 Series and says "This device is working properly." It also says Driver Version "16.200.1035.1001" I really don't know how to fix this, any ideas?

Solution
Clean install of the drivers(using DDU in safe mode, reinstall latest AMD ones) didn't work? Also did you make sure your screen is plugged in the GPU rather than your mobo?

I don't get any display if I plug into the GPU

what connector are you using? hdmi or dvi? try each to see if it makes a difference. If no monitor is connected you will get that message your getting.

HDMI, I don't have a DVI connector. Is it possible that this video card only supports DVI? That wouldn't make sense as there is an HDMI port on it.

I haven't tried doing DDU in safe mode, attempting that right now.
