shows what the plug is.

I think it is a molex cable (which someone else told me), and I was wondering how important it is because it was installed with my case. It is broken, and I do not know whether i need to send my case in to get a refund. Do I need it, or can I deal without it?

My case: CM Storm Stryker Full Tower

You are right about the cable(molex LP4 type). You will be best to flow it to see what they used it for. I would guess a fan controller(fans tend to run on 12 volts), but you also have a hot swap bay(should only need 5 volts).

You can get a new pin or solder that one if you have the equipment. The pin is held in with little fingers. You may be able to contact Coolermaster to have just a new cable sent out if it has a plug in the other end attached to the case. I have done this for an Antec case with a broken usb port(better than sending the case away).
