I just finished building my pc and installed windows 10 and I have my pc hardwired to the router with an ethernet cable that i pulled from our old pc and it worked for it and now its saying there is no Internet connection is there something not enabled in bios or what?

install the network driver of your adapter/motherboard manually
did you plug in the ethernet cable into the correct lan port of the router?
does the router recognize a cable/lan connection?
do the LEDs of the network card blink? Which colors?

update the bios of the motherboard inside BIOS itself
