I have got an old psu probably 5 years old so can i use this psu to my new assambled gaming cpu which has got i3-6100, gtx 750, asus ddr4 motherboard and 8 gb ram ?

Solution
As for the i3-6100+ 750ti is fine combo, but you need a new power supply.
The one you have is not good for that use.
Also, you might want to wait for the RX 460 / RX 470 / GTX 1050 that will be released very soon. You will get much more performance for the same price as 750ti

That PSU does not belong in a computer, DO NOT USE IT!

Even if you connect it to the computer and it somehow works, it will likely freeze/turn off for "no reason" (actually a very simple reason, the PSU is crap)

If you only care for that level of gaming equipment (sub 100W total), you can buy a seasonic 350W PSU for ~$30 anywhere in the world

Am from india too,, can u tell ur specification cause mine is exceeding from 600$ if i choose i3 6100 and zotac 750 ti

and to all others,,I cant understand how to chose psu,, as i did tried using some psu calculator and its says 250 or 350 recommanded,, it made lil sense cause i3 6100 and 750 ti are known for energy effeciant ,,

"cant Corsair VS Series VS450 - 450 Watt SMPS handle it ?"

my list - Darshan_5

PSUs are divided into groups by their design and quality of components.
For example Corsair VS series is good for web browsing, productivity and media consumption.
It is less suitable for gaming PCs since they use much more power in different loads.
There are other similarly or slightly more expensive PSUs that will do the job better.
You can use this page for a guideline http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
For your system tier 2 or 3 unit of 400-550watt will be fine.

My specs are
1) intel i3-6100
2) Amd raedon rx 460
3) Asus ddr4 motherboard
4) 8gb ddr4 ram
5) corsair 450w psu

yea 450w psu is enough but i recommend you to buy amd rx 460 because its better than gtx 750ti which has same price

I am vfx artist who works in adobe after effect and such , so my profession need high end graphic card(though what i will be doing is playing gta v with cheatcode and then complete again without ceatcode :p ), but Currently working in domestic bpo with barely 10k salary, so i planned to save bucks and in some months i will have money so at that time if i see rx 460 can over do 750 ti without making a hole in pocket then i would go with that,,

for now i planned to
i3 k 6100 - why ? cause this generation have powerful pc (i5 nd i7) so i can upgrade later without changing much
750 ti - never used nvdia as my gfx wanna give try ,i have used amd radeon in my two laptop, this card sound like a decent monster with 1040 medimu setting i would able to get more 30-60 fps ,, i hvae played tomb raider and assasin creed game in my lappy with very low fps like at times it were barely 10 fps (maybe at 860x480 or a lil higher resolution),, evn if its not i wouldt mind switching down some little resolution, :D 720p ,. and this card is power efficient
H110M - type mother borad ,, no overclocking possible, and neither do i am looking for one
Corsair 8GB ddr4

still figuring out other componnent ,,,
I live in India and my budget is around $450
are u building whole pc ,, can u tell name of components and known price
