I have a old Gateway Gaming PC which is a
Gateway FX 6860 PC model UR21P
My MB is a
Aspire M3970
I check with Crucial on the type of Ram that is compatible with my PC and 1333 or 1066 can work but the ones i got are 1066 and if i try to max it out to 16gb the new ram ain't recognized. Is this because they are different speeds? I have another PC that if i put the Sticks of Ram in that PC recognizes them. Everything i try to upgrade with this PC nothing never works, the MB is not upgrade Friendly.
I had a friend who had 2x4gb of 1066 and so i tried those and it still doesn't recognize them. Thanks
