AHCI to RAID

Hi
Because of better performance for my modules I want to switch from AHCI to RAID, but as you know there is a risk to lose all of my data, is there any creative way?
240G SSD for windows
2* 1T HHD
Motherboard : x99 a
CPU : 5820k

When you create a raid you will lose all data on the drives used for the raid. Because of the risk involve I strongly recommend a FULL SYSTEM BACKUP of all drives before you start.

also I don't know about your motherboard but from the ones ive delt with doing raid setup though the motherboard will tend to make the ssd run in ide mode even though that is not the drive your a raiding
