Pc image freeze

Hi everyone, first of all, sorry if this is in the wrong category but this is my first post here. So, my pc started freezing when I try to boot it. Everything is fine until the "starting windows" screen appears then it freezes BUT only the image. I can hear the sound of windows starting but the image is stuck at "starting windows". Sometimes it would start normaly, sometimes it would do this and from time to time, it would completly freeze(in games or even watching a video) repeating the last sound before the freeze into a loop until it starts to become more like a buzzing sound

Yes, I think it is already dead, found another HDD laying somewhere in the house, is a old one too(old meaning only 40gb of memory but its barely used), no more crashes, freezes, boots fine everytime, guess it was the HDD afterall. Just wanted to post this so other people can see it and dont struggle as mush as me trying to fix it.

I really don't know the specs because is very old. What I knoe is that it has 2gb ddr2 ram, geforce 8600gt 1gb GPU, intel pendium dual cpu 1.8ghz and psu is 550w

and give us a Screenshot.

if it didnt work use CPU-Z

I did scanned both with avast and malwarebytes, none of them found anything but I suspect the HDD too because sometimes it wont even display it when booting

well, try to change yr HDD power cable and try again
hope it fix yr problem.

well...it luks like ur psu is on its way out...but we cant be sure unless we can test with a working substitute...
considering ur situation...the sane thing wud be to go to a professional shop in ur vicinity and let them test with substitutes...they wont charge u anything to test it...thy will charge u to fix it...but atleast u ll get an idea...

Ok, first of all, thank you all for the help, second, I managed to change my windows, it works now, not even one freeze, not even during the restarts required for instalation. It is a little bit slow now but considering that I have only 2gb of ram + the fact that here were I live is very hot(I guess this could be a factor too? During the day it crashes but at night when temps outside go down a little bit I could keep playing until morning with no crashes). Anyway, I will add some more ram, get a new psu, cable for HDD then if the probem persists I will slowly replace it all. Again, thanks everyone for help.

I don't know if any of you guys are still following this post but will post this here and if I grt no answer I will make another thread. So, you know the old problem it was fixed since then but now, I think that I found the reason of it. So, few minutes ago, I tried to start my pc and while it was displaying GPU info(model, corporation etc) I heard a weird sound coming out from the PC, like scrathing very hard a CD even if I had no CDs/DVDs in it so I powered it off and let it like that about 1 minute. Then, same sound came out of it but this time I let it run. It all booted fine ultil it reached the part with the blinking underscore screen, after that, nothing shows up on my monitor, not start windows normaly, safe mode, safe mod with networking, nothing, just a black screen. At first, I tought it was my GPU so I removed it and placed the cable in the mobo integrated GPU and I got the same reault, just a black screen after blinking underscore. My question is: is the HDD dead? The PC displays it on the first "info" screen(it shows at the top MSI then below my RAM, CPU, all this stuff and info about them including the HDD. It could still be recognized by the PC even if it is dead?
