my 3d mark physics score is way lower than it should be whats wrong?

i just ran 3d mark on my pc (i5 4460 gtx 980 8gb ram) and my score was only 9968, the graphics score was normal at 14690 however my physics score was not, i was only getting a physics score of 4957. I ran the same test last week on the exact same system and my score was 10733 with a physics score of 6360, and my graphics score was basically the same. Whats wrong??

4957 vs 6360 is not a load of difference. In the last week have you installed anything or ran 3dmark at a wrong time like while Microsoft updates are in process?

I'm getting at your OS processes could have been in a different state a week ago and since psychics means a whole lot of cpu in 3Dmark, anything consuming it will lower your result.
