New laptop can't game on it ???? software or hardware related?

Hi all no i idea what is up, got a new laptop its a
Dell xps 15 9550
i7
4k
960gtx
16gb ram

I installed my old games " planet side 2

when i load into game and try to move walk forward or side to side its really juddary? like a car stalling? i push down to move and i move tiny bit then stop.

when i do finally walk and i press another button like to run my character stops then i get stuck again and cant move.

i changed setting loads of times
same thing happens with external keyboard

I tried it on BF4 as well same thing.

so which means it must be the laptop

any idea would be great.

I am not sure if you only have the 960 gtx or the Intel onboard graphics as well, make sure you are running off your discrete card (960 GTX). That could be why your game is choppy. Also try lowering settings till running smooth.

i tried that fella only running the gtx not the intel

setting are on windowed 1080 still get the lag movement thing. on both games.

this has been solved admin please mark as finished.

if there are other programs open that use command keys the in game wont work so need to close the application running in background
