Hi,

I have done one or two CPU OC's on older boards before, and I managed it fine. I am looking to overclock this new CPU/. However, long story short, I am unable to change the CPU Ratio to anything other that Auto.

Here are my specs:
Mobo: ASUS P8Z77-V LX (LGA1155)
CPU: i5-3570K @ 3.4GHz / 3.8GHz Turbo
RAM: 2x (2GB) Corsair CMV9GX (1333MHz)
2x (4GB) Corsair CMV4GX (1600MHz)
GPU: GTX 660 Ti ASUS (2GB) OC

So, I've no idea how I'm going to change it to manual.

Here is an image of the BIOS showing Auto option:

Can anyone help?

Solution
From the manual.
CPU Power Management
The sub-items in this menu allow you to set the CPU ratio and features.
CPU Ratio [Auto]
Allows you to manually adjust the maximum non-turbo CPU ratio. Use <+> and <-> keys to
adjust the value. The valid value ranges vary according to your CPU model.

I cannot tell if that's where your picture is located, its too small to read.

Just below that area should be the section to turn Turbo on and off.
With Turbo on I believe it is locked to Auto, leaving you the ability to only adjust the Turbo multiplyer. Turning it off if I recall correctly unlocks the CPU ratio.

Hmm, I'm overclocking fine atm but is it normal for the BIOS to read one vCore voltage and for Hardware Monitor to read something vastly different.

My BIOS reads 1.352v but Hardware Monitor reads above 1.5v!

I daren't go any further :/
