Geforce Gtx 960 2gb running dual monitors

Hi i'm currently running my computer with one monitor using dvi cable, and i was wondering cause i wanted to add another monitor, how do i connect the second monitor to the graphics card? since the graphics card only has one dvi port

You use one of the HDMI or Displayport ports. Obviously you would need to use a monitor that has a HDMI port or Displayport, or use some kind of adaptor.

Hi sorry for the very late reply. So would a dvi to hdmi cable would work? Sorry and thanks i'm new to multiple monitors

Most monitors have different input types, some monitors can take DVI, HDMI and displayport.

Check what inputs the new monitor will have first.

The monitor will have both dvi and vga. And the 960 only has do and hdmi.

Then you need a HDMI to dvi cable for the second one.
