I built this computer myself and after around 2-3 months it picked up this problem. When pressing the power button all the fans spin up and the hard drive kicks in but nothing happens. Also, when it does this the power button becomes unresponsive and I have to turn the power off by either using the PSU switch or the wall switch. This process of turning off on can go on for quite a while and there isn't any pattern to it. When it boots up after a few failures it gives a message before going into windows showing my hardware and stating the fact that there have been multiple failed boots. I haven't changed anything in the system to cause this problem so I'm not sure on what it could be. The computer works completely fine when it's on also. I've tried changing the battery on the motherboard with no results because I saw that as a solution for my problem in another post. Anyways, that's as much as I can think to describe my problem. i5 4440
Asrock H87 Pro4
GTX 660, used to have a 650 but this was upgraded after the problem started.
1TB WD Blue
4x2GB Corsair Vengeance
CX430W Corsair PSU
All of these were in my system when I built it and had no problems. I haven't touched anything in the BIOS or UEFI which ever one it is.
