Building a new budget rig. Config goes as -
Cpu - i5 6600 3.5ghz
Mobo- MSI b150m mortar
RAM- Kingston hyperx fury 8 GB ddr4 2133 MHz
HDD- WD 1 TB 7200 rpm
PSU- cooler master b600 v2
Cabinet- circle cc 830

And i am lil bit confused with the GPU.

FIRST QUESTION - will my rig support AMD radeon rx 480 8GB or the nvidia gtx 1060 6GB ???

SECOND - i am confused with the GPU, should I go for rx 480 8gb or the nvidia gtx 1060 ??? In my place, the radeon rx 480 8gb costs just a lil more than the gtx 1060 6GB, but both of the cards are under my budget. I saw the benchmarks and saw 1060 beating the rx 480, but again few websites says upcoming games will go with vulkan api and DX 12 and the radeon supports both of these well enough , especially vulkan. Though the gtx 1060 beats the radeon rx 480 but it lacks SLI, which i am worried about. And in future, if i crossfire, i can get better results with the radeon.

So wanna ask your opinion on which GPU should I go with my rig. And which will be a better choice, considering everything, like, vulkan, dx12, performance and all. :??:

Yes i will probable will suggest Rx480 over Gtx 1060. Yes GTX 1060 is like 10% faster than rx480.And the gians were only seen on 1060 were on some Game Works tiles. But the performance of AMD cards tends to increase as their drivers get matured. And Dx12 and Vulkan are supported right out of the box on rx480. Your motherboard also only support AMD crossfire only so cant run any nvidia card in sli on
MSI b150m mortar.

And yeah it doesn't support SLI config. But i can change the mobo though if needed.. but i guess i'll go with radeon rx 480, prob the sapphire nitro+.
