Hey all! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU immediately.

My current one is an AMD HD 6570, my budget right now is $260.

I have had my eyes on the GTX 960 since it looks pretty good and it's on sale on Newegg at the moment.

I originally wanted the RX480 but it's impossible to get one in stock and the 1060 is too. The current card I'm using was loaned to me and he is going to need it back soon!

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good card for gaming?

My monitor res. is 1280x1024. I plan on playing BF4, BF1, and Overwatch.

Also, I just found a Sapphire Radeon NITRO R9 380X for really cheap, is that worth it?

Solution
The GTX 960 @ 1280x1084 should be a killer if you have a suitable CPU to keep up with it. You should be able to run max/near max settings most of the time.
The R9-380X is faster, but also requires a more powerful PSU.
GTX 960: 460W min
R9-380X: 550W Min
And we're talking good quality PSU, not junk.

I'm using the AMD FX-8320 Vishera 8-Core 3.5 GHz processor, is that good enough?

I'm also using an EVGA 210-GQ-0850-V1 850W PSU. It's a modular.

While a 960 is good at that resolution, don't you think you will upgrade you monitor in the near future? You can get a 1080p monitor for $100. A Gtx 1060 is a much better buy. Wouldn't recommend the Rx 480 until they figure out the issues with it.

Definitely getting a new one, the one I'm using is one I already had.
