Can't Install Windows Service Pack 1 Dell Optplex 760

Ok this is realllyyyy frustrating.I just got this all installed on my dell optiplex 760 meaning i just installed windows 7 and the first thing i tried downloading was all the updates.So when i try and download the service pack 1 update it stays at 0kb/s and then after like 2 minutes or so it gives me an error 0x80070570
and i have tried manually installing it with the download from the website but then i get the same error and says the files are corrupted.

Looks like its not exactly an uncommon issue with Dells. Assuming you don't have bad hardware it may be an issue with built in SATA drivers. Check out this link and see how it works out.

I'd check the Dell forums. I don't know if you're trying to install a whole lot of updates at once or not, but understand that if you try to install more than 40 or so at a time, it's going to bomb out on you. I support 28 Dell Optiplex 760 desktops and recently had to reinstall 114 updates after having to do a restore.
