Mouse and Keyboard arent working prooperly

I have a logitech keyboard and mouse connected to my desktop using the same unifying receiver.

When reciever was inserted in onboard usb slot, they suddenly started lagging and freezing.

I switched receiver to case usb port and it works fine. Is this my chipset drivers for my mobo that are the problem?

I would suspect a problem with the onboard usb slot.

Is the USB receiver connection tight and no wiggling? Can you look inside your case to check the USB port. With power off see if the entire jack is wiggling at all.

Try some other USB devices in that slot. See if the problem continues.
