This is what I'm coming to as a final build, and I've been hearing about the Titan X and I'm wondering if it's worth SLIing two 1080s. I'm aiming for 60-80 or 90 fps at 4k resolution, I have a monitor with g-sync, liquid cooling, and a very good case according to some of the reviews. But here are my questions:
* I think I'm set on just SLIing two regular 1080s as opposed to spend a few thousands on SLIng two Titan Xs, but would it be ideal to spring for a Titan X? I've heard some people saying varying things about the Titan vs 1080s and I read somewhere they were also about to unveil a second Titan cart? In general it's making my head spin trying to decide, but would two regular 1080s be the best bet?
* Is overkill necessarily a bad thing for games when it comes to parts?
* People say that some things (like icons) look strange and some things feel strange depending on your posture between a 21' monitor and a 27' monitor. Is a 24' monitor a good compromise?
