I want to install Kali Linux on an old PC of mine. The problem is, that every time I connect the PC to a monitor, a keyboard or anything really, it won't detect it.
I have found that while the PC is able to start, it seems that it does not send power to any of the computers outputs. Could this be a malfunction in the motherboard? I have considered to reset the HDD completely, and boot up Windows from scratch, to see if it may have any effect.
Any suggestions to how I might be able to solve this problem? Any input you may have will be valuable to me, and received with many thanks.
(I want to note that I do not intend to use Kali Linux for any illegal tasks, but purely for tinkering with the programs coming with this version of Linux, as I've had an interest for the hacking culture in some time now).
