I know I have a dinosaur but the owner loves XP. I had replace the HHD from another laptop supplied by the owner. with her stuff on it. I had to do a system repair on it and It had another name on login. I have put the new name and password on and it works fine in safe mode
When you do the normal mode ,nothing shows, but if you do the control alt delete twice
it come up with the old user in the box, and nobody has that password
