Hello out there!
Can you please give me some advice and tell me which card I should buy and why?

Here is my setup I'm planning to buy:
MOBO: ASUS Maximus Hero VIII
CPU: I7 6700 Skylake
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4-2133 DC - 16GB
PSU - Corsair CX750M - 750W PSU
GPU - MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X or AMD Radeon RX 480 (waiting for a custom model)

I'm gaming in 1080p resolution at a 60Hz monitor.

Thanks in advance! :)

Solution

the 1060 is a bit faster in dx12, and a lot faster in current games

also you need a GOOD 520w - 550w psu not a crappy 750w one

get a xfx TS 550, seasonic 520w, or evga gs 550

I would get a better quality power supply than a CX series from corsair. You can find a Gold 80%+ power supply for around the same price.
(tier list for reference, notice where the CX series is)

I don't know too much about the different ones on here, but I use a 750W ThermalTake tough power gold which you can get for 85$. So far it's on the 2nd ish (not really specifically listed on the list but has similar technologies) tier in the list.

A 1060 or amd 480 will work wonderfully for 1080p. However, the 750watt corsair psu is fine, no need to change that. As for which gpu, the 480 by amd is cheaper, however the 1060 is very very slightly faster in most games, but with a 50ish dollar higher cost.
