Hello everyone, got a strange(hopefully one off) problem for you today.
I was playing Rainbow Six Siege today when my monitor loses it's image while it and the computer stay on. What I mean by the monitor staying on is that the back light and the power button remain on but without any image. The only way I could exit the game and return to the desktop was to turn the PC off on the tower.
This the only time this has happened and I would like to prevent it from happening again, but I'm unsure if this is a GPU issue or what.
I'll leave my specs below, thanks!
Cpu: i7 4790k
Mobo: Gigabyte z97x-sli-cf
Gpu: Gtx 970, Zotac
Ram: 16gb Corsair Vengeance
Monitor: BenQ XL2720Z 144Hz
