Hi!

This is not really an issue, just odd and a little annoying. I'm trying to understand what's happening.
When I turn on my pc (cold boot) there is like 6-7 seconds of time until
- case fans start to rotate (connected via fan hub [phanteks enthoo pro case])
- monitor gets signal
- i get the POST report

I think this is slow, rather odd... Or is this normal?
I do hear (fan) sound when I turn the switch on, maybe it's the PSU or the CPU fan, Im not sure. But the case fans are all stopped at that time, and the monitor also doesn't get a signal...
After the POST is completed, the boot is very fast to windows, and no problems.

I have a very new pc (approx. 2 weeks old):
- asus z170-a mobo
- evga supernova 750 g2 psu
- i5 6600k (@4300 MHz, 1.28V)
- msi gtx 1070 armor oc (connected via HDMI cable)
- OS drive is a samsung evo850 250gb SSD
- I also have a 1TB WD Black HDD for storage. No other devices connected.

I have upgraded the BIOS to the latest version. I have the "fast boot" option enabled,
and the logo display (Asus) disabled. POST report wait time is 2seconds.
I haven't changed anything else which is related to the boot process.

Boot order is as follows:
- ssd
- hdd
- windows boot manager

Booting method is: UEFI + Legacy
Boot from [network devices, storage devices, pci-e/pci devices] are all set to: "Legacy only"

My cpu is overclocked to 4.3GHz, with a Vcore of 1.28, my cache frequency is 4GHz, Sys agent clock is 1GHz.
Is it possible that the voltage is too low when I turn on?
There is an Initial cpu voltage setting, which is on "Auto". Should I cange this?

I'd appreciate any information or suggestions on this :)
Thanks

Solution
It's solved. Memory checking was what took "long". I've found that in the memory timing settings in BIOS, there was a memory fast boot option.
Boot time is now 11s til windows login screen.
