Hello!

Last week I bought every part of my build, but now I get the message I'll have to wait 3 weeks for my CRYORIG H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler!
So I cancelled this order and have 2 questions.
- Can I already install windows etc. without this CPU cooler? (since it doesn’t take a big effort of the CPU I think)
For sure I will not game without it, but can I start to install most of the things?
- Then tonight I will buy a CPU cooler
The CRYORIG H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler is hard to find. Do you have some recommendations?
I’m from Belguim, should I but this

or do you have other recommendations for example this

Thanks in advance

Please dont try to do anything with your cpu without a cooler. If the package it came in had the stock cooler in it, you can use that one but trying to boot your pc without cpu cooler will cause your cpu to overheat and shutdown and it may affect the lifespan of your new cpu

You shouldn't boot your computer without a CPU cooler but if you have a stock CPU cooler that was provided with the CPU itself then you will be fast to install that and use it just don't overclock your cpu. The 212 Evo is a fine cpu cooler you can mildly overclock on it without a problem and its fairly cheap. if you want a more expensive cooler the Noctua D14 is a good one along with the Dark Rock Pro3.

Wow ok don't try to boot then :).
Ok i will wait then.
Thanks to warn me!

that's my build: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/Dgsr6X

I don't find the H14.
Is the NH-D14 more or less the same?

I just want a pc that's easy to find now :)

I'm not planning to overclock a lot, I would love that my CPU stays healty, and I heard good things about noctua.
But is it a waste of money when i don't overclock? (maybe i will have to overclock after 4 years to stay up to date)

Im currently also running noctua fans in my setup and im more than happy.
Its not a waste of money not to overclock but instead its a good thing to have so you can oc your cpu in 2 years or so when you want to squeeze a bit more perfomance out of it

The NH-D14 is the one I was getting at so yes its the same thing I just used the wrong letter XD. its a fantastic cooler and will allow you to overclock quite a lot. having a good cpu cooler is never a waste of money its like saying a good steak is a waste of money over a cheap cut its just nice to have :)
