rx 480 or gtx 960

Should i buy rx 480 or gtx 960 to play on 720p..i want to play at ultra be future proof for 3-4 years and i may be upgrade to 1080p after few months?

RX 480 4gb, its much faster then the GTX 960 @1080P when you make that upgrade. Also get a aftermarket version since it will run cooler and be factory overclocked.

The RX 480 is significantly faster than a GTX 960. At this point both can do anything at 720p but at 1080p the RX is far faster.

GTX 1060 3GB if you are staying on 720p or 6GB if you plan to go 1080p.

^ What he said, for 720p if you planned on that forever RX 480 is overkill. But you do not plan on that forever, and so therefore the RX 480 is worth it.

Ok...right now i have dual core cpu..i have money for graphic card only...i can't buy cpu and motherboard right now...so can i pair rx 480 with dual core and play games?

I have g2010 2.8ghz cpu and b75md3h motherboard and 8gb ram....now it will still bottleneck too much?

Look for a second hand i5-3570 or i3-3250/3240. Whichever you can afford and get the RX 480 aswell.

3rd gen cpu are not available here anymore...also i dont want to buy any second hand thing...i want latest i5 6600 or i5 6500..

On newer games that system will be bottlenecked quite a bit. IMO not worth the GPU upgrade until you are ready to upgrade the CPU or do a new build.

Wanting adn affording are different things. Buying non-k CPUs second hand is safe as they weren't overclocked and are basically built to last forever. If you want the best results now, go wiht what i suggested + RX 480.

In my opinion.

If you have a limited budget you may want to save up your money to replace the motherboard and CPU and the GPU. The RX 480 will bottleneck on any newer game with that setup. If your funds will be limited for a while going with a 3rd gen cpu upgrade as Hlsgsz reccomended is the way to go.
