Hi guys,

For some time now I am looking for the new GPU. Originally I wanted to go for the rx 480 (probaby Nitro from Sapphire), but I have to wait for at least a month and a half and I have no idea how it will perform vs 1060. Since I'm from Germany, prices here are crazy.

These are my top contenders:

1. RX 480 (Sapphire Nitro) / Gigabyte - ca. 319 Euro.
2. 1060 (Gigabyte) - 319 Euro
3. 1060 (MSI Gaming X) - 339 Euro
4. R9 390X (sapphire nitro 8gb) - 329 Euro.
5. R9 390 Fury (sapphire nitro 4gb) - 349 euro.

My rig:

Cpu: i7 2600
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3p
8gb Ram
Monitor: For sure 144hz, Benq - not sure which model cause I would like F-sync but it depends on the GPU.

What would you reccomend and why? From the benchmarks, it seems tha the Fury is at least 1 tier above any of these cards (correct me if I'm wrong).

Thanks for your help guys, I really appreciate it.

Solution

The Fury is hands down the better card of the bunch, and the price is great compared to the 390x.
Go for the Fury for sure.
Can you confirm that Fury price? it is double named and doesn't look right.
R9 390 is different than an R9 Fury. There is no R9 390 Fury.
Can you show me where you found an R9 Fury for 349 euro? Compared to the price of the R9 390x it is a huge bargain.

Sorry, was a typo, yeah I meant R9 Fury and R9 390X (390 is something am not interested in).

In germany I can get Fury Sapphire Nitro for 349 Euro, which I believe is the best card from all listed above. If I consider that rx 480 nitro will run for 320, I really cannot justify to buy much weaker card for 29 euro less. What do you think?
