I have windows 7 on an ssd drive that I boot off of and windows 10 on an another hard drive that I keep most of my files on. Is there a way to delete windows 10 without losing data on the either hard drives?

Welcome to Tom's Hardware, @MrSnoCone!

It's always highly recommended to backup all your data from the drives somewhere off-site (externally) before tampering with the storage configuration. You can easily format the secondary drive, once you have backed up/copied the data somewhere else. Once you have successfully formatted the drive from Disk Management, you can simply copy all the data from that HDD back to it. This time - without the Windows 10 OS. This procedure is safe for your SSD, because you will be basically formatting another drive.

If you have applications/software on the secondary HDD, you will need to reinstall them, though.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions! :)
