Hello, I am worried about the temperatures that my graphics card (Powercolor R9 380 4GB) gets to. Ive been playing games like GTA V, NBA 2K16, Mortal Kombat X, and ive been monitoring the temperature on graphics card out of curiosity and when playing those games the temps stays around 85C-90C after 20 mins of playing. When playing Witcher 3 the highest it got to was 99C after about 15 mins of playing I closed the game after that out of being worried. Im just wondering if those temperatures are safe and if i should stop being worried, and if there is anythign i can do to help cool the gpu.
The case i use is: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147122

Shit that is hot man.

I honestly don't have any good answer for you. Airflow is important, but does it feel that hot? Like 99C is enough to boil water, does it feel THAT hot in your exhaust?

I'm starting to think your cooler might not be properly seated.
It would mean your core temps would shoot up, because the cooler isn't taking enough of the heat.
Reseating the cooler isn't all that difficult.
They don't use covered chips, so they are more fragile than CPUs, but the process is identical, just use a very sparing amount of thermal paste.
Does Radeon Settings in Global - Overdrive, also recognize the temp as being very high?

99c really is too hot, but it could be that the reading is actually wrong.

Do you have any open spaces for fans on your case? You should probably populate them.

Radeon settings also see the temps as being very high, the fans start to run at 100%. Sadly I dont have any open slots for fans.

Ive tested the temps on other games and it might just be on witcher 3, other games stay around 70-85C. I also feel like it is the case, my cable management is trash because there is no room at all inside the case.
