PC will not turn on. Had thunderstorms with lightning the other eve. Pc and monitor was unplugged, but cable I-net was still connected. Am thinking that power supply is fried, but don't know how to be sure...maybe motherboard? Green led light is flashing under power supply cord plug in. What does this mean?? Any help or info would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. Cassie04

need to check them systematically...start with the psu paperclip test...

if the psu works then only u can proceed to the motherboard...
u have to connect with one ram stick only interchanging the slots and try for a post...more here...
