Nvidia Display Drivers Constantly Crashing

So I have been dealing with this issue for almost a month now. I have searched everywhere and even talked to Nvidia support on 4 occasions without any resolution.

I had an EVGA GTX 970 FTW+ and without any software updates when running WoW my screens went black and said No Signal Detected. I couldn't do anything except do a forced shutdown. This continued to happen even after just launching WoW or any other Blizzard game. Street Fighter 5 lasted for 15 minutes and the same issue happened. I remotely connected to my PC during a crash using Jump Desktop and saw an error on my screen that said The Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 device is not removable and cannot be ejected or unplugged. Event Viewer says the driver crashed but recovered, which clearly it doesn't.

After troubleshooting with support, we tried upgrading drivers, downgrading drivers, removing ingame addons, completely wiping and reinstalling the latest drivers, removing, cleaning and reseating the gpu and still it crashes. Tried to run Fur benchmark and it crashed immediately. Nvidia said the card was dead. So I said f it and bought an msi 1070. Well... after a clean removal using DDU and a reinstall, the 1070 is doing the exact same thing. Same error and everything.

I am running:

750w psu
Gigabyte Z97x Black
i5 4690k (error occurs OC'd or stock)
32 gb ram
MSI GTX1070 8G
2TB Seagate HDD
256 GB Samsung SSD
Running 2x BenQ 27" + Wacom Cintiq 27"

Heat has not been an issue. This error occurs even at idle. I can post any information upon request such as dxdiag, etc. Any help would be appreciated, this thing is driving me insane.

Thank you for your reply. I was using a corsair 700w psu but I just upgraded to a 1000w in the last hour. I'm waiting for any failures.

I believe heat wasn't an issue, but it could have been spiking and instantly failing? I was monitoring with msi afterburner and everything was stable the driver would fail and all monitors would drop to 0 as if the card was off.

I will see if anything changes with the new psu installed.
