i recently created a gaming pc. I have not installed an os yet. everytime i turn the computer on and i go into the bios and let it idle. the cpu heats up to about 60 degrees celcius after a few minutes and then the screen turns off. I tried using the stock cooler and then switched to an evo 212 cooler.
I made sure everything is correctly installed and tried re applying the thermal paste using a pea size amount. I am using an msi z97 gaming 5 mb and an i5 4690k cpu. I want to use my computer so much but it overheats in the bios doing literally nothing. please help!!
