You take the hard drive out of laptop and put it in the caddy, transfer data then put it back in laptop.

You should google how to transfer files they will be videos on YouTube what will make it fool profe..

1, You could use an external hardrive.
2, If you have access to a nas drive connect both to the network.
3, Get a hardrive caddy and put the drive you want the stuff off in it and attach to new laptop.

Buy a hard drive caddy about £5 on eBay take out old hard drive put in the caddy attach to new laptop via usb and copy files over.

You can share files through windows but that won't let you copy everything.

nas = network attached storage

You do relise if you copy everything and goto open stuff on new laptop it won't open all the folders as it won't know what directories things are in....

First off, what do you mean by "all the data"?

Your personal docs, etc? No problem.
Applications? Problem.
