Can someone let me know what RAM will work with my motherboard?

I only ask because I've tried to buy RAM for it twice now, and apparently it might be the cause behind a lot of issues I've been having. I'm looking for 16GB if possible. Currently, I'm using this RAM but I'm looking at G.SkiLLs calculator and it's saying it may not be compatible. Your best advised brand would be very helpful, as well (I'm not too familiar with the "best" RAM brands for gaming).

Your help is much appreciated - thank you!

Solution
no, the fans just provide better temperature for the GPU.
So start with PSU - easier to test.
If it does not help - definitely a GPU issue.

I am just trying to diagnose an issue I've been having with my computer freezing. Apparently it can be a multitude of hardware issues and I don't really know where to start, but RAM and PSU seem like the likely culprits.

I did notice on CPUZ the RAM was listed as single channel, when it is dual channel RAM. I don't know if this makes a difference, but I swapped the RAM from the B1/B2 slots to the A2/B2 slots to enable "dual channel". Seems to be ok now, but that's what I've thought the past 6 times I've fixed it..

When I open up any game/demanding program, my computer freezes (sometimes with static/audio loop, sometimes silent) and I have to hold the power button until it shuts off and I can restart. This only happens once I've installed the Nvidia drivers (no matter which version I use) - and it doesn't happen in safe mode.

Things I have tried so far:

* Ran Memtest to check RAM - no errors.

* Reinstalled Windows 10 - didn't fix anything.

* Updated Intel drivers for my motherboard.

* Ran DDU and uninstalled/reinstalled every driver version available for my card multiple times. No luck.

* Ran CCleaner to clean the registry/deleted the NVIDIA folder.

* Monitored GPU/CPU temps using MSI Afterburner - both seem stable.

* Checked RAM/CPU Voltage in BIOS - both are normal/correct.

At this point, I'm not sure what else I can do. I was super excited to start gaming and it has been a complete nightmare spending all of my time after work trying to fix this and having no luck. The only remaining issue I can think of is that my PSU is somehow failing as it's the oldest item in the build, but I thought the computer would turn off if that was the case. I've noticed this problem mainly occurs when I go from an idle state (sitting on desktop/browsing Reddit) to opening a graphic intensive game like Overwatch). However, it has also frozen on me in the Windows 10 login screen.

It is likely that PSU can cause such issue. When you launch "demanding" app, there is a spike in power usage. If the PSU can not provide "clean" required power, than freeze or shutdown are very likely.
It also can be an issue with the GPU. The easiest way to test this would be borrowing PSU from a friend or family member.

My thoughts exactly.. I noticed that when I changed the fan speed to constantly be at 75/100 (instead of auto), and downclocked my GPU by 100 core/250 memory clock, it froze A LOT less and didn't have as many issues (although, it had some). The card came factory overclocked, so I'm guessing lowering that helped remove some load off the PSU, and the fans being at a constant speed helped prevent the "spikes"?

Went with the 750 - weird that it's priced cheaper than the 650 on Newegg, lol. Thank you for all of your help!!
