Can I wire two separate USB devices into a single USB 2.0 header?

So I'm guessing the answer is yes but I'd like to confirm...

My motherboard has two USB 2.0 headers for a total of 4 possible connections. One header is occupied by my 2 front panel I/O ports. The other header is connected to my NZXT Kraken X61, which uses only one connection (4 wires out of 10-1 pins) of said header (leaving 4 pins unused (plus the NC pin)).

I'm ordering a PCI-E WiFi card that uses a single USB connection for Bluetooth capability. That being said, given that only 4 of the 10-1 pins on the relevant header are connected, can I just yank the wires out of the new card's connector (which will also be 4 out of 10-1 pins but is a full size connector, leaving all other pins with NC like the Kraken's connector) and insert them into the empty 4 holes on the Kraken's already connected header (obviously taking care to their order of insertion).

In other words: I have two USB devices that each have their own full-sized header connector (each only using 4 of the 10-1 pins), and I'd like to merge them into one, just like my 2 front I/O USB connections.

I feel like I explained this simple concept poorly but I don't know how to improve it. Let me know if more details/explanation are needed. Thanks!

You explained it a bit confusing, header for one USB2 port has 4 wires. If you have another 4 free you can use them of course. Just make sure connections are to same pins as on other one. 9th pin is not connected to anything. it's there so connectors can be put in only one way.

Did you read what I said? I have 4 pins unused on my motherboard. Let me be more precise.... All USB headers are 10-1 pins, even the ones that only use 4 of them. Given that I have two devices that use only 4 of the 10-1, can I remove the wires from one of them and put them into the unused sockets on the other?
