Morning all.
Got me an Intel core I5 quad core which is a replacement for my old G2130, thought it was time to upgrade.

So I installed the CPU fine and updated BIOS beforehand, everything is connected fine however when I try to get the PC to boot up it wouldn't boot or after several attempts it would try to boot but I'd get the screen telling me to hit F1 to recover BIOS settings which I have taken out the battery, tried the jumpers and what not.

I try to hit F1 to get into the BIOS set up / recovery window however it is as if my keyboard is not detected. The lights on my keyboard are on though when hitting F1 nothing happens and then the PC reboots.

What is doesn't do is attempt to boot from the hard drive so I had noticed. And after several on/off it starts to boot from the hard drive yet I see no signal message on my screen.

The specs are...
Asus p8h61-mx motherboard (USB 3.0)
Intel core I5-2400 quad core
HD radeon 6670 graphics card
BIOS version is at 1003

Was hoping that maybe someone here could shed some light on what may be going wrong?

Thanks.
