So i built a pc recently, but i left the GPUs for the next month, so i can afford one, the thing is, in my country (Mexico) the GPUs are more expensive than they should be because of taxes.
R9 380 Nitro= $245.5 aprox
GTX 960 WF= $239.3 aprox
The other choice is the R9 380 Dual X, its cheaper ($219)
What im worried about is the power consumption and heat, is the little bit of extra performance, extra heat, and extra power consumption worth it?
CPU: i5 4460 (stock cooler)
PSU: CX500M

Solution
if you have no brand preference then just take that Dual X one? 960 competes more with 285 actually. when AMD rebrand 285 into 380 they push the clock higher to make it faster than 960 by default.
