My PC is only using my CPU's integrated graphics and not my dedicated GPU, it's happened to me before and I fixed it without needing to change anything in my tower, so I don't think it's anything messed up in there.
I can't open up the Nvidia Control Panel due to an error when I try to load it which tells me that it doesn't detect a Nvidia GPU in my PC.

I have an Intel Pentium G3260 3.30Ghz and Nvidia GTX 950.

Solution

Then you need to plug your hdmi cable to the graphic card's HDMI port, not the motherboard. Only then you can install your Nvidia driver and have access to the Nvidia control panel.

No, I don't think so, I have the HDMI cable plugged into the back of the tower that's all
