I'm going to be replacing multiple parts (apart from the PSU, case and DVD drive), and I need some help deciding on parts with a budget of around 600 USD

I want a CPU that can run MMOs well (1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, AM3+ are my preferences), with a stable motherboard to match. I'm going to be replacing my HDD with a WD 2TB Black, and my GPU with an NVIDIA GTX 1060. I will also be buying a new windows 10 OEM license.

(If anyone knows a legit site to get a cheap windows OEM, lemme know!)

This leaves me with just 70 dollars left (budget will probably increase), So, I am stuck on the best bang for your buck CPU/MOBO combo that will work with the platforms stated above, and working on a 650W PSU. Thank you.

You may find a cheaper version of Windows online. I know this is a bit over your budget but I recommend getting a good CPU,

Ill be going with a 2tb HDD and 16GB of ram, but thanks for the advice. I do have a question: I found the i3-6100, it looks faster and cheaper, would that be a better option or would it bottleneck?

Get the i5 6500. i3 6100 is slower and has half cores compared to i5 (4 vs 2). But will run games no problem. If i5 6500 build below is out of budget, then get the i3 6100. Will work just fine.

You can get cheap windows from here - http://cheapdigitaldownload.com/windows-10-professional-digital-download-price-comparison/ costs about $23 for the windows 10 professional.

My suggestion -

The i3 may perform better in single threaded applications but the i5 wins on multi-threaded tasks/games. I don't think the i3 will bottleneck your system for the vast majority of tasks and is an option if you don't want to spend the extra for the i5.
