970 is 30%-40% faster than the 960.
Get a non-K CPU, 550-600 watt PSU instead of the 750 and a faster video card in place of spending money on those. Maybe the 1060 or RX 480 also instead of the 970.
If you are getting a 960, it's a bit of a waste to get an i5-6600K, you are limiting the CPU with the video card.
