corsair h100i v2 cooler
zotac amp extreme 1080
evga supernove 850w PSU
Alright ... first build here and everything went fairly smooth until the first boot. I am getting q code 99 and the boot device LED flashes white, then turns to a solid orange. Any help or suggestions to troubleshoot this would be great. Monitor does not display so I cannot get into the BIOS screen.
Maybe its my CPU plug on the mobo? The power cable on the PSU for the CPU is 8 pin and the other end (the one that connects to the ATX12v on the mobo is a 4 + 4. One half of the pin fits the pattern on the mobo and the other does not. Although the other half doesn't fit it slides on easy. I've tried starting and restarting with both 4 + 4 pins connected and only one.
I've rechecked for any loose cables and also started GPU in and GPU out.
