RAM for Alienware Alpha

Can anyone recommend the best RAM for an Alienware Alpha base model i3. I want to bring it up to 8gbs. I see from the posts the Corsair, Crucial, and G. Skill seem to be the best brands. However, Corsair and G.Skill do not have the Alpha on the memory finder tool, so I don't know what to get.

Do you have the new Alienware Alpha(R2) or the previous revision? If the prior outing, then you can follow this guide:
http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/Alienware/alienware-alpha
which can be populated with up to 16GB of ram. You can follow this guide to replace the existing ram and this guide to narrow down your search.

If it's the R2 version then you're going to have to follow this:
http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/Alienware/alienware-alpha-r2

So which version do you have and what is the SKU for your i3 processor? The 4170T or the 6100T?
