Hello,
This is my first ever build and Im not really good on mobo stuff and BIOS etc..

My rig is going to be:
i5 6600k
gtx 1060
8gb of 3000mhz ram
520w cpu
250gb ssd

Now the mobo is my real problem, the gigabyte one just came out a few weeks ago and has good features. The asus tho as lots of people say, has better BIOS and oc stuff.Im buying this pc in 10days or so, any help would be appreciated.

Also other reccomends for mobos are welcome as well, as long as they are from gb or asus.Im on a tight budget and these mobos cost like 30% more than the ones on newegg for ex.

Solution
The Asus board have better power design - helps with overclock to some level.
The rest I'm not sure how much it is better.
You will be probably fine with any of them.
My preference of Asus is historical personal oldschool :) I still remember the times when both GB and MSI where low grade crap. Now i consider them as wanna be top tier. And i had some issues in the past with GB. Though no recent experience.

The only gaming i will ever do is cs go , I know this rig is a huge overkill for cs go, but i might play new games as they come out, who knows. As for the mobo is there a huge difference or any difference between them? OCing, sound, BIOS etc? The gb one is 60$ cheaper in my country and its newer so i kinda want it more but im not sure ._.

The i5-6600k with some OC will last 6-7 years easily. I'm still bumping around on an i5-3570K and a i7-3770k. So that 2-3 years statement is not exactly honest or correct.

For a first timer, Asus is probably better. The uefi bios is much easier to understand, and Asus has 1 thing no one else really has. AsusFan software. It's by far the easiest, most adaptable visual software for fans there is. No one else comes close. As far as the rest? Pretty much most mid to high end mobo's are the same across the editions.

Don't get stuck on a brand, pick the mobo that best suits your needs and wants. Does it have m.2 slot native, USB 3.0 or USB 3.1, 1x usb3 port or 2, 1x or 2x or 3x pcie x16 slots, motherboard software something you'd use, is it the right color for my build? Etc etc etc.

16gb is too much for me and the fractal design is kinda overpriced in my country since its 140 bucks almost. The 1060 will arrive in 5-6 days from gigabyte and asus since they dont sell from any other brands for gpus.** I was also planning that psu tho ^_^**

I checked all the stuff that i am plannin to buy and they seem to be almost if not for some a bit higher than in ma country, so 50-70€ wont benefit me that much, although they do have almost every brand .. Especially evga
