Please let me know if this is not the right place to post this.

Last night, I was watching Netflix when everything bugged out, video stopped, audio went crazy, and the PC became unresponsive. I tried restarting. Boot screen graphics looked fine, but things went crazy when I logged in to Windows.

I opened my PC, unplugged and re-plugged things, and overall just tried to make sure the graphics card was properly situated. I started the PC again. This time, it worked for at least 10 minutes before bugging out.

Video (14s) of PC freaking out: https://vid.me/BgRz (warning: annoying noise)
Video (7s) of PC freezing later: https://vid.me/hX7c

I've performed no recent installs or Windows updates.
My computer is old--bought used in 2010 and nothing has been upgraded since.
So, should I throw in the towel for this old PC or is there troubleshooting I can do?

Specs:
-- Windows 10 Pro
-- Mobo: MSI P7N SLI nVidia 750i
-- CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
-- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+
-- RAM: Buffalo 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800Mhz

Solution
Yeah, I'd look at temps of the card, make sure the cards fan is spinning, If your not afraid, tear the card apart and clean it and replace the thermal paste, but don't get rid of the thermal pads on the vram.

If you need a replacement, if you go with AMD/ATI, don't go below the HD5xxx cards. The HD4xxx cards AMD do not support anymore and you'll find your self having issues with some things vs most older Nvidia cards which they still release drivers from time to time.

My HD4890 is nearly useless on windows 10 on many games, but works find for the most part on windows 7, its a shame really.

I'd look for a GT730, you can get them for pretty cheap, and should perform better then the 9800 GTX+ Or a GTX650 which can be had for cheap...

yeah i'd probably look for a replacement of the card at least, it shouldn't be too expensive, or if you want to look for good deals I got a 1 GB GDDR5 radeon for $35, and that sound actually ear raped me
