I don't know if its my OS or what, but I see massive frame rate drops on csgo with my current pc.(I'm running windows 10 insider preview) But either way, because of this I've been toying with the idea of a new rig for roughly £500 (not including peripherals or OS). I'm not sure weather its worth actually upgrading to a completely new rig or just using the money to upgrade what I have.
My current build goes as so

CPU: AMD A8 7600
MOBO: ASUS A88XM-A
GPU: GTX 750
RAM: 4GB Generic

Basically I like my price for performance so when I build I like to build around AMD, but if I can get the same or better from an intel rig of roughly the same, I'm open to it by far. My question is basically is it worth jumping to AM3+ socket or not, and if so how would I go about it?

Solution
I would definitely get a intel rig, even the highest AMD FX in many situations cannot be an i3...

CPU: Intel Core i3-6300 3.8GHz Dual-Core Processor (£131.37 @ CCL Computers)
Motherboard: ASRock H110M-ITX Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard (£63.15 @ CCL Computers)
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory (£37.48 @ CCL Computers)
Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£56.28 @ Kustom PCs)
Video Card: RX470 4GB Video Card (£159.00)
Case: Deepcool TESSERACT SW ATX Mid Tower Case (£29.99 @ Ebuyer)
Power Supply: XFX XT 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£42.98 @ Novatech)
Total: £520.25

Wait for the RX470 and get that one, you will have very decent 1080p gaming!

Do I not need quad core though to play alot of games? or do the threads on an I3 make up for it. I know awhile ago I had a a6 chip and it never came close to being able to plat fifa 15. Wouldn't even load the heads of the players, got quite a giggle out of it though

edit: If thats okay. How would this revision be of the parts. basically just a change in mobo and case.
